Segura Local I

In Spring, 2025, my Bride and I visited St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. While there, we also visited Water Island. Water Island houses the incomplete Fort Segura, which was to serve to protect a Submarine base that would be installed. The war ended before completion, and eventually the fort was decommissioned and turned over for management by the Department of the Interior. A major storm was rolling in, so we, or rather I, did not get to explore the interior tunnels and chambers.
Nevertheless, when we arrived, this guy welcomed us and did not mind me photographing it. I did not have any bank releases, but gave me permission to use its image and likeness as I pleased. I would have emailed a release it does not use email or mobile phones.
