I have always been partial to the color red. It is a color that best says "ALIVE". I love it when my Bride wears red. We once got the "stinkeye" treatment because she wore a (very modest) satin skirt suit in this very color - to a church. This is one of my perennial garden residents. This was no more than its second season since planted. And yes, red and black also happen to be my undergrad school colors. Although they messed over me horribly, I am no less proud to be called a Rutgers (Newark) alumnus.
